Happy Sunday

Jam 5 pagi, dapat sms dari mama, isinya begini,

"For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought. Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel."

Sebelum dan sesudah tidur berkomunikasi dengan Tuhan, Jangan abaikan ya anakku, Tuhan Memberkati.

Sedikit kaget dan sangat tertegur, sepertinya mama merasakan putrinya ini sering lupa berdoa.. Hehehehe. Dan harus kuakui juga, memang aku sering melewatkan bagian ini hampir beberapa minggu.

.. Read your Bible, pray every day, and you'll grow, grow, grow, na..na..na, ...
.. and you'll grow, grow, grow.

I remember singing that little tune as I grew up in church.

Some of us forget this simple yet powerful reminder: we must pray.

Too many Christians rely on other people praying for them or with them that they forget their personal prayer life. I think that's a common misconception among Believers. We must pray not only to grow closer with the Lord but also so that we may be Spiritually prepared for the Spiritual Warfare that goes on every moment of our lives.
